How scoring works

Every challenge on DNR Play is a head-to-head on identical cards. Nobody gets a luckier deal: the person you challenge plays the exact shuffle you played.

The round

  • Klondike Solitaire, drawing three cards at a time.
  • Five minutes on the clock, starting with your first move.
  • You score points as you play, mostly by building the foundations from Ace to King, plus a time bonus for what’s left on the clock when the round ends.

Who wins

The higher score wins. If scores are equal, clearing the board beats not clearing it, and then fewer moves wins. If everything matches, it’s a draw. A win is worth three points in your standings and a draw one.

Every move is checked

When a round ends, the game sends us every move it made. We replay them on our servers against the original deal, and only a round that replays exactly is saved. Rounds that can’t be verified don’t count.

Challenges

A challenge link stays open for 7 days and can be played by one person. You can withdraw a link nobody has opened yet. After a match, either of you can start a rematch on a fresh deal.
